Aritmos is a Sage Platinum Partner based in Lleida with more than 40 years of experience implementing ERP in companies whose main asset is their team’s know-how. Sage X3 offers native project management with budgets, phases, milestones, time and expense recording, and profitability analysis by project, customer, department and employee. For services companies that have outgrown Sage 50 or Sage 200 —engineering firms with multiple simultaneous projects, consultancies with distributed teams, industrial maintenance companies with recurring contracts— Sage X3 is the platform that brings projects, finance and operations together.

Yes. Sage X3 manages projects with budgets, phases, milestones, resource allocation, time and expense recording, and profitability analysis. All integrated with accounting, invoicing and purchasing. You do not need a separate project management system: the ERP is the single source of truth for the cost and revenue of every project.
Employees record their hours on a weekly or daily timesheet (from the ERP or from a simplified mobile interface). Each hour is assigned to a project, phase and task. The system automatically applies the employee’s cost/hour (based on their profile and actual cost) to calculate the cost charged to the project. Hours are the basis for both customer invoicing and profitability analysis.
Sage X3 supports the three invoicing models common in services companies. Time & materials: invoices actual hours and expenses charged. By milestone: invoices when agreed phases or deliverables are reached. Fixed price: invoices according to partial progress certifications. In addition, for maintenance contracts or recurring services, it generates automatic periodic invoicing.
Sage X3 calculates profitability by matching invoiced revenue against actual costs: team hours (at each employee’s actual cost/hour), direct expenses (travel, materials, subcontracting) and allocated overheads. The result is the project’s real margin. With Power BI, it can be analysed by customer, department, service type and period. Team utilisation is also measured: billable hours vs. total available hours.
Yes. For maintenance companies, Sage X3 combines contract management (with automatic recurring invoicing), intervention management (linked to the customer’s equipment, in the case of capital equipment) and recording of hours and materials. This shows whether each maintenance contract is profitable or losing money.
Aritmos positions Sage X3, with native project management integrated with finance, against solutions that rely on external project tools (Trello, Monday, MS Project) disconnected from invoicing and accounting. For services companies that need to know the real profitability of each project without exporting data to Excel, having projects, hours, expenses, invoices and accounting in the same system is critical. In addition, Aritmos has 40 years of experience with the region’s industrial and services companies.
It depends on the number of users, the complexity of the projects, the invoicing models and integration needs (mobility, CRM, Power BI). Aritmos offers a free preliminary analysis. Get in touch for a demo with data from your type of service.
